Weddings

A church wedding is primarily a worship service. Every part of the service is to give glory to God for the love that he has brought to the couple. It should reflect the fact that the couple is asking God’s blessing on the marriage.

Those interested in making a reservation for a wedding are asked to call or contact the church office to set up a time to meet with one of the pastors. The wedding date will not be confirmed on the church calendar until the first meeting has been held and the pastor has agreed to officiate.

The couple should let the pastor know of the wedding date as soon as possible so there will be enough time for the pre-marriage sessions and for planning the service. Three months to a year is needed to fully prepare for the wedding.

At the meeting with the pastor the couple will be connected with one of our wedding coordinators. To view our booklet containing our wedding policies and other wedding information, click here.

Baptisms

Jesus commands us to make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Spirit. In the waters of Baptism, we receive the gifts of forgiveness, the Holy Spirit, eternal life, and are made members of the Body of Christ. Living in fellowship with Him and His people, we grow in faith, love and obedience to the will of God.

Youth and adults who would like to be baptized and parents who desire for their child(ren) to be baptized are asked to contact Pastor Andrew to set up a time to discuss what we believe about Baptism and schedule a date. Normally the baptism takes place during a worship service but can be scheduled at a different time if needed.
