In addition to written translations, LBT communicates Scripture audio-visually and oversees Scripture engagement and literacy programs. Immanuel Church has made comforting quilts for Lutheran World Relief, Beloit-Lutheran Services in Iowa, and Riverside Quilt Auction for many years. Women meet monthly from 9 A.M. to 12 P.M. on the first Thursday of the month for a day of fellowship and quilt tying. Members of the congregation generously contribute fabric, time, money and talents to help prepare these gifts of comfort for people around the world.
