The COVID-19 pandemic has taken millions of lives and sent shockwaves through our global economy. It has caused long-term debilitating effects on many people’s physical health. But many of the pandemic’s effects are not so easily seen: the dangerous ripples that it has caused in people’s mental, emotional, and spiritual health. Anxiety, depression, substance abuse, and suicide have surged during this time of isolation and worry. How can we defend ourselves, our friends, and our families from these unseen enemies?
